The room door had a gap you could see through from outside, so I had to use my towel to cover it. The air conditioning, shower, and toilet also didn’t work properly, and everything felt very basic. When I asked to switch rooms, they offered only the room at the back, farthest from everything. What a joke. This was easily the worst hotel I’ve stayed in, and luckily it was only for one night. Very, very disappointed.

Tamatabi 20190115 I travel by bicycle and like to stay in cheap hotels, as long as the room is clean. I paid 250Rp for a regular room with air conditioning, and both the room and bed were clean. That price isn’t cheap for me, but I couldn’t find a cheaper hotel in this town. It’s easy to find. Good trip.

It’s a two-storey, two-star hotel, just as the website says. The location in the city center makes it easy to find, and the rooms are comfortable. There’s Wi-Fi, breakfast, a mushola, and a prayer rug in every room. A few downsides: parking is cramped, the breakfast is very simple and runs out quickly while everyone’s hungry, and Wi-Fi doesn’t reach all rooms evenly. The mushola is on the first floor, but I think it should be on the ground floor. Some parts of the hotel are difficult for disabled people to use. If you have a disabled relative, choose a ground-floor room.

A decent place to stay for a stopover in Cianjur. The room was clean, though not very big, and the facilities are standard for the price. It feels a bit like a boarding house, but it’s pretty good for transit. The hotel is along a route used by many buses and travel services, so getting transport to Jakarta shouldn’t be a concern. You have to book in person, as online booking isn’t available yet.
