We'd paid in full right after booking four non-smoking rooms online, but only three were available when we arrived. They said we'd come late and had given one room to someone else. The replacement was a very poor quality room with no AC.

We turned up just before midnight without a booking and were lucky to still get a room. Thanks to the gentleman who greeted us, and best wishes to him.

Don't take the 150,000 rupiah room. It was awful. The rough, unplastered walls looked like a filthy drain wall, and the peeling paint gave me the creeps. The sheets smelled sour and sweaty, like a guy had just come from hard work, and they hadn't been changed. The tiny bathroom smelled strongly of urine, and the odor spread through the whole room. 😭

There wasn't even soap, and I couldn't find a security guard. The mattress had sunk, too. I ended up checking out at 10 p.m.
