The Patra Ubud

We stayed in May-June, and the weather being less warm made the trip even better. The rooms were clean, the staff went above and beyond to help, and breakfast was excellent quality. Shops aren't too far away, and this was better than the other Ubud hotels we stayed at. I'd definitely recommend it and would visit again.

The apartments are huge, inside and out on the balcony, and the staff are super friendly. We rented a scooter directly through them, which was easy and helped us reach lots of places. A really nice, quiet, cozy spot for a relaxing stay. Highly recommend it. Thanks, guys!

Best new villa in Pejeng! The rice fields around it make for a really relaxing stay. Ubud center is 12-15 minutes away by bike, and the ride is worth it for the views and quiet. Comfortable rooms, a super good breakfast, and helpful staff with great service. Highly recommend!

Do not book here! I have to post this review twice because this business is using a fake Google Maps address for the same hotel. See screenshots. I've heard of businesses doing this to confuse guests and make themselves look much closer to major sites so people will book. The hotel's real address is far from everything, in a community where rideshare pickups are blocked so they can work only with the local taxi driver. On a solo trip, I ended up in a pretty bad position when they wouldn't let my Grab driver into the neighborhood. They blocked him, then charged me twice as much to get to my destination. I understand wanting to support local taxis, but rideshare drivers are Balinese too. Creating false scarcity and making someone pay twice as much for the same service is plainly wrong. At check-in the staff member didn't give me contact information. When a problem came up, I contacted the hotel through booking.com, where I'd booked, but that number was for reservations, not on-site help. I couldn't find a way to reach reception, so I finally went looking for them in person, in my pajamas. The true location is quite far from central Ubud. Breakfast came with powdered orange drink mix, and it didn't taste very good. There were ants on the bed constantly. I disliked the stay so much that I left early, and management still charged me for a night I didn't spend there. Do not book here.
