Sari Alam Hot Spring and Resort Hotel

The pool water was only mildly warm.

There are plenty of accommodation options here, from a small two-bedroom villa with one double room and one room with two single beds, which works well for a small family, to a much larger villa suited to a group with its own private pool. The traditional hot tub has flowing hot spring water, and the staff provided very good service. The resort is also very well maintained. I had a very good experience and will definitely stay here again if I visit Sari Ater.

The private hot spring pool for guests is a nice feature, and there are lots of open spaces to enjoy. It's a cozy, relaxing place for a family holiday. The warm spring water wasn't really hot, though, and the buildings look old. I last visited about 11 years ago, and not much seems to have changed. My aunt mentioned they have a newer building with a more modern house design, but it doesn't have a kitchen.

The hot springs are nice, and if you enjoy aerobics you might like the morning sessions. They take place in the central open area and are extremely loud. Speakers start around 6 am, and the noise can carry on until 8 or 9, so relaxing or sleeping in wasn't possible for us. We'd come here to get away from big city noise, but the high-powered speakers woke me every morning. I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for a quiet place to unwind.
