The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I liked having a mini fridge and electric kettle, and the staff were friendly. The water is salty, which made showering and even washing my face unpleasant. Wi-Fi was weak in the room, so I had to go to the lobby for a good signal. Breakfast was acceptable: nasi goreng with a sunny-side-up egg, fresh tomato, and cucumber. The receptionist had trouble getting my credit card to work, so bring cash.

Service was good, and the restaurant had plenty of affordable choices. The place itself is comfortable, though the air and water were only so-so. I think it's the best hotel in Merak.

It's the best of the nearby hotels at Merak port, though there's not much choice. It would be good if they could improve the salty water and Wi-Fi, and get the gym up and running. Thanks.
