The room was okay for the price, and the air conditioning worked. I liked the view and clean beach, plus it's easy to get to the Merak ferry and nearby food. I ate here too and the food was okay. Breakfast was roti or cereal, so it felt worth what I paid. There were lots of mosquitoes.

There are cute cats around, and the beach is fairly clean, though some trash remains. Staff welcomed us and showed us where to buy tickets at reception. The beach seems fine for wading or swimming. I can't comment on the rooms since I didn't stay overnight.

Weekdays feel almost like having the beach to yourself. It gets crowded on weekends, but it's still okay. The beach is nice and clean unless it rained recently, when it can get dirty.

The staff are helpful and the service is good. It's a very simple place, but the private beach is quite clean for this area. Update, 16 September 2023: still a nice spot for a family weekend by the sea.

I stayed here on a business trip in Cilegon. The hotel is on the seashore, with a lovely natural beach you can walk straight onto. The sandy shore has a nice view, framed by coconut palms and other trees. The rooms are spacious and comfortable for couples, families, or business stays. They come with a flat-screen TV, personal safe, electric kettle, work area, fridge, and minibar. The restaurant serves Indonesian, European, Chinese, and Western dishes. It's a minimalist-style hotel at Jl. Raya Pelabuhan Merak No. 65, Mekarsari, Cilegon, West Java, and easy to reach by any vehicle.
