The rooms are cozy rather than spacious, but comfortable, and there’s a designated prayer area outside them. Breakfast is a set menu, not a buffet, and starts at 9:30 am in the coffee shop, which opens to the public at 10:00 am. The hotel has an appealing interior and color scheme. It sits a little inside the housing complex but is reachable by car and close to the Baros toll exit. There’s plenty of on-site parking.

I came here to celebrate graduation day at IKIP SILIWANGI. It’s cozy and fairly quiet, and the price is very affordable. Everything else was great, though the floor under the bed was dusty. For food, there’s the cafè in front of the building or pawon warung makan, which sells food you might like.

The staff are friendly, and the place is clean and comfortable. It’s near the Baros toll exit, and cheaper too.

Check-in was quick and easy, and the parking area is spacious, though a bit dark and spooky at night. The food was delicious when I paid for it, but the complimentary breakfast was bland even though it came from the same restaurant. I was in room 101, where the bathroom was very slippery and seemed poorly maintained. The washer's water jet smelled fishy, like rotten eggs. Please clean the floor, walls, and toilet thoroughly after each guest checks out. The more upsetting part came after I checked out and was on my way to Jakarta. The hotel sent me a WhatsApp message saying the slippers in the room weren’t allowed to be taken home and had to be returned. The owner should have been wiser about this policy. If guests can’t take them, tell them at check-in. Staff had checked the room before checkout and let me leave, so insisting afterward was embarrassing. The hotel was negligent twice, first by not telling us about the slippers, then by failing to check the room properly at checkout. Slippers could be useful advertising for the hotel if guests wore them outside and people saw The Harris Hotel name. How much does a pair cost? If they’re too expensive to give away, the hotel could offer a more affordable take-home option. I don’t think guests would want to use them if they knew the slippers at The Harris Hotel were used. Slippers should be single-use amenities, not reusable.
