Wisma Joglo Hotel

I expected a quiet mountain setting, but the main road is just below the balcony and motorbikes and cars pass all day and night. The trees also block the views throughout the hotel, despite the ad suggesting a mountain view, and the photos feel misleading. The room was dark, with very old-looking furniture that seemed unmaintained. There was a mouldy smell, dirt and mould marks from ceiling to floor, and the bedsheet smelled awful. Cockroaches were running around the bathroom. The shower area had no curtain, the tap was broken, and the sewage was blocked, leaving the bathroom flooded after I showered. The balcony was covered in dust and dirt, as if it hadn't been cleaned in ages. A very disgusting hotel.

Everything had an old feel to it, and I kind of liked the atmosphere. I booked two rooms, one with a single bed and one with a double, and each had a different bathroom. The hotel was easy to find, and the receptionist was helpful and kind. If you need a budget hotel, you could give it a try ❤️

I stayed for a month, split between two different rooms. The price, location, and facilities were all good. A nice budget hotel that doesn’t feel old. I’m happy with it.

The hilltop location gives a great view and fresh air, and it’s an awesome hotel. I had to ask the staff to clean the room, though, and hope they’ll keep up regular maintenance. Sound from outside comes in easily.
