Puncak Inn Resort(Kt)

We had a family room for four on our first visit, and it didn’t disappoint. The bathtub worked well for soaking, which I especially liked, and the staff were friendly and did their jobs well. We were welcomed by a beautiful view, and finding dinner was easy since restaurants are not far away. It felt worth it. ☆☆☆☆☆

The room was roomy enough for our three adults and one child, as the listing suggested for 3-4 people. I booked a Hill View room, and the balcony was big enough for 6-7 people to sit and look out at the breathtaking hills. The washroom was average, and we had to call housekeeping to clear the blocked drains. There’s a nice lawn and garden by the entrance, with birds, ducks, and cats around for children to play near. The hotel is on the main road, close to a supermarket. Food was a drawback. There’s no restaurant, and nearby choices are limited to grab-and-go food, which is also limited in the area. Breakfast is served at the hotel and was alright. Our room had lots of mosquitoes when we arrived, so we had them sprayed and bought repellents at the nearby supermarket. I’d recommend bringing some if you’re visiting. There’s no kettle in the room, so you have to ask housekeeping for hot water. Extra pillows cost Rp. 5,000 each. The nights are pleasantly cool, but if you want a fan during the day, bring a portable one because the hotel doesn’t provide one. It’s a decent place for a night or two, and you get what you pay for, though some things could be improved.

We had a lovely valley view during our one-night stay. The breakfast didn’t meet our expectations, though. Maybe the kitchen could add some other options instead of serving only a full-carb meal of rice, noodles, and "bihun".

The balcony has a lovely hillside panorama, and the rooms were quiet since the hotel sits a bit away from the main road. It’s a comfortable place for a break from the city, though the building is quite old. There’s a restaurant area, a swimming pool, a shared outdoor space, and an outdoor gym. The pool looked clean enough, but I haven’t tried it. Room options range from the usual two-bed rooms to deluxe panoramic-view and garden-view rooms with four beds and a living area. The food was standard hotel fare like fried rice or noodles, and tasted a little bland. The views made up for that.
