Life Side Corner

Bad.

I paid for two rooms under Ade’s name through Agoda, but when we arrived the boarding house was closed. A security guard told us it was full, so we couldn’t stay at all. Our payment had already gone through and wasn’t refundable. Agoda told me the booking was valid, but from what I could see, there was no actual accommodation there, just photos being used. This happened on April 23, 2023, the second night of Eid al-Fitr. I wasn’t the only one affected; several other people were scammed too. Be careful and don’t trust the room pictures.

I came across this inn on Instagram through @sidecorner_crb. The facilities were clean and really good, and the price was very affordable. I’d assumed comfortable places had to be expensive. Thanks for offering a nice, budget-friendly stay in Cirebon. 😁👍🏼

I stayed for three months and by the third I was already fed up, but kept putting up with it. A lot of people have apparently complained about the boarding house guard, Angga, saying he often asks for money and has a really bad attitude. It’s a shame, because the boarding house itself is nice, yet he still hasn’t been replaced despite all those complaints. Thanks.
