Ombak Homestay

The price is cheap and the place looks nice, but it wasn't what it seemed. The room got too hot because the door didn't close properly and the AC air escaped. We had water problems and couldn't shower, while the pump ran noisily all night. The owner only seemed concerned with payment and wasn't helpful. He didn't understand how the booking app worked, so we couldn't communicate there, and he wouldn't give us his number. The kitchen was dirty, the fridge didn't work, and the service was bad. Think carefully before booking this homestay. If you want privacy, forget it.

Ebet was friendly and really helpful. He arranged a bike and snorkel tour for me, and helped when I got locked out. Breakfast was great, the price was awesome, and the location is convenient, close to the night market and SamaSama bar. The staff were so friendly and kept the place cleaner than most others on the island. My one issue was the smell of the bathroom water, though it seems common in budget places and not unique to this homestay.

We had a fun, safe stay, and Ebet made it especially enjoyable. He helped us find good deals and we became friends. The beds were big, the prices were good, and I'd go back.

The people at this homestay were so lovely and charming. If you want to get a feel for local life, this is the place. Ebet, Ady, D and D, and all the other friends, I miss you. I'll come back to see everyone. Terima kashi!!!
