At least it's very close to Bromo, and breakfast had nice Nasi Goreng. But the room and beds were dirty, and the shared bathroom was disgusting. I wouldn't want to shower there, and even using the toilet was a struggle. It seems they know people only stay one night to hike up to Bromo, because otherwise they couldn't get away with rooms like these.

The location is the only reason for the one star. We're glad we booked just one night. Nobody received us when we arrived. Inside, dead flies were stuck to both beds and scattered all over the dusty room. The shared toilet had no flush, was blocked, and was covered in urine. Charging 200.000 IDR per night for this homestay is outrageous.

No water, very cold, and a terrible place to stay. Booking here was a very bad idea. I've never found a worse host or somewhere less focused on guests. It's sad and hard to understand how anyone can run accommodation in these conditions with such a poor attitude.

Food stalls are popping up all around this homestay, so you can take your pick. It's a fairly comfortable place in Bromo, and you're already quite close to the mountain if you want to challenge yourself and walk there. Breakfast, tea, coffee and Wi-Fi are free. If you're lucky, there's hot water too 😂

A low-budget hostel with a comfortable bed and hot and cold water in the shower. Worth staying here the night before hiking Mount Bromo.
