Garuda Hotel

The receptionist was helpful, but everything else was really awful. The floor tiles had deteriorated, and some popped up as we walked up the stairs. You have to be careful not to trip over them. Our room's air conditioning wasn't working and only blew warm air. I was sweating profusely, really profusely, and during our one night there I had to shower almost every hour because I was drenched in the warm, humid month of May. It was unbearable, and the shower was broken too, making things even worse. The toilet didn't look clean either. There wasn't a proper receptionist there after 7pm or maybe 8pm, so there was nowhere to complain about the bad amenities. I hope they fix the basic amenities, because once we were there, people like us had no choice. Late at night it was impossible to move to another hotel. The included breakfast was beyond words, and horrible is putting it mildly. Garuda is a very prominent name, and using Garuda is very misleading.
