Azana Green Peak Resort & Convention

We booked two rooms and were glad they gave us connecting rooms as requested. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and everyone on staff was friendly and welcoming. Ayu from the café was especially kind and helpful, and gave us excellent service at dinner. We had a great stay and would recommend the hotel. Thank you!

The pool is clean, though the little boats and floats make it crowded and less comfortable for anyone who wants to swim properly. Breakfast has a good selection and tastes quite good, but the pasta and battered fried fish were both a bit hard. I didn’t see any salad, though maybe I didn’t look through all the choices. The hotel is nice and deserves its four-star rating. It’s fairly easy to reach and set back from the main road, so it’s peaceful. The room was clean, spacious, and up to four-star standards. One small request: could the Nescafé sachets be replaced with Excelso? Still, it’s very good overall and I’d recommend it.

The main drawback was the live music from the restaurant, blaring from 7 to 9 PM. With all that noise, it doesn’t feel suited to a quiet personal retreat. We also arrived to a dusty sheet and a nasty stain on one pillowcase. The hotel staff were easy to reach and communicative, though. They made the beds as we’d requested, cleaned the room, and refilled the amenities. We’re a family of four with daughters aged 20 and 13, and booked a family room for two nights. The room was comfortable and clean, with a balcony overlooking the mountain and pool. Staff were helpful and quick to assist. Breakfast was good, with lots of continental and Western choices. My favorite was the nasi goreng with ikan teri. We visited nearby Dairyland park and Green World Adventure. Travel was a headache. Traffic going to and from Jakarta-Puncak was congested, and we had to take alternative routes on narrow roads. We’re not used to those roads, and the drive felt scary. Would I recommend the hotel? Absolutely. But for a quiet rest, perhaps try somewhere else.

The garden was large and lovely, with fresh views, and the air felt cool and fresh. The pool was a decent size, and parking was spacious. The room itself was roomy, and having a proper balcony was a plus. The overall feel reminded me a bit of places in Ubud, Bali. My main disappointment was breakfast. The buffet needs an upgrade, especially the bread and pastries. The baguette, wheat bread, and white bread weren’t up to par. Also, I’ve stayed at many ARTOTEL hotels, and this was the first room I found without a coffee machine.
