Puncak Camp Hills

A great place to take the family.

There’s a small river where the kids can play, and the scenery is beautiful. The place is pristine, and the price is affordable for the facilities. I did enjoy that part of the stay, but the upkeep needs work. The bathrooms were a bit dirty, and the moss on the path and the dishwashing faucet made both slippery. Kids shouldn’t walk there alone. Several bathroom items were broken, including a bucket and a faucet that wouldn’t turn. None of the door locks worked, so they had to be held shut with stones. There was only one dishwashing faucet, outside the bathroom, and I’d like more taps around the plots so guests don’t have to keep walking back and forth. More bathrooms would help too, especially near the river or office, instead of having just one. I only saw a single trash can across the whole area, and litter was scattered around, particularly in the bathrooms. I hope Camp Hills improves the cleanliness, fixes the damage, and adds bins so it can be more comfortable in future.

We got in very late at night. The entrance is through the Grand SMESCO Hill gate, which is also a useful landmark for motorcycle taxi maps. The campsite is down below and feels family friendly. The caretaker was friendly, and Wi-Fi is free. Check-in is at 2:00 PM and checkout at 12:00 PM WIB. It’s quite a walk from the main road, so having a motorcycle or car is recommended.

A fun spot for a family holiday. The tents and grounds are cool, getting in by vehicle is easy, and the guards are friendly and nice.
