Puncak Raya Hotel

I booked the most expensive room, Room # 2008, for a stay with my family, and it was very dirty with no cleaning. Water was leaking in the washroom, and the hot water didn’t work. I asked staff about it but got no answer. When I went to reception again the next day, the man there just said the hot water wasn’t coming and apologized. The room phone didn’t work either, so I had to go downstairs to reception, where the guy wasn’t available.

The grounds are wide and spacious, so you can jog around, and there are two swimming pools to choose from. Our room was clean and nice, with a water heater. It may not actually be a five-star hotel, but it’s a good place to stay with family and deserves five stars from me.

It’s an older hotel, but still okay. Right beside the main road in Cisarua, and good for kids, with lots of playgrounds.

We keep coming back with the family almost every two months. Room type Bromo is comfortable for families, and I picked it because there’s an outdoor playground right in front. There are two pool areas, one outside the lobby and another by the Type Rinjani Lobby. At the Rinjani area, there’s a warm pool, a kids’ pool, an adults’ pool, and a playground together. The service is very attentive, and the guard washes the car in the morning. Sometimes there are lots of ants in the room, though, so bring "HIT" to be prepared, and you can borrow a broom. The location is convenient too, with Indomart and Mr. Diy nearby, and Cimory isn’t far, around the Megamendung area.
