The balcony didn’t feel private: other guests sat there and smoked, and there was no clear boundary between smoking and non-smoking areas. Staff also came onto the balcony to fix a light without warning. One of them wasn’t wearing a shirt, and after they finished, they left cables and debris behind. I had to ask reception to have it cleaned. I booked the VIP Junior Suite expecting more comfort for the price. The room itself was fairly clean, roomy enough for two adults and two children, and had large windows facing the beach. But the bathroom wasn’t clean enough, the shower pressure was very weak, and the hot water wasn’t working. There was no water in the rinse area, so we had to use the bathroom instead, and showering was difficult for me and the kids. We also didn’t get towels at check-in, and there was no room phone to ask for them or order food. Parking was limited and there was no clear guidance or ticketing system, so I had to use the Alfamart lot across the road. The hotel is on a convenient main road, but the service and condition didn’t match what I’d seen on social media. In my opinion, IDR 1.9 million for this suite wasn’t worth it. I hope management improves how guests are treated and the overall service.

The rooms were comfortable and well equipped, the food and drinks were very good, and the view was spectacular. Cleanliness was about a 7.5. Of the hotels I stayed at in Pelabuhan Ratu, this was the most acceptable and comfortable choice. The entrance could use some work, though.

The view was great, but that was about it. The hotel was extremely dirty and smelled bad, and it felt like the whole place was falling apart, with things broken or rotten. The restaurant was disgusting, and they added taxes that weren’t specified. There were two pool tables, but no white ball. When I asked about it, they laughed at me. The manager was disrespectful, and even the way he spoke to the staff was hard to believe. I don’t understand how a hotel can be run this way. These are photos of our executive room, which cost 480,000rp. A shame.

The hot water worked, the AC was cool, and the bed was comfortable. Those were the good parts. For what we paid, the rest was far below standard. It’s listed as a 3 Star Hotel, but there was no drop-off spot by the lobby, and we were told to park at Alfamart because the lot was full. We stayed in the Sunset Suite and were really disappointed. They’d written “SS 02” right on the door with correction fluid pen. Inside, it was dirty and humid, so I asked Housekeeping to clean the floor and change the sheets. There were lots of ants and mosquitoes. The room was spacious, but the layout didn’t suit everyday use: there was no outlet near the minibar or dining table, which made preparing baby food challenging. A lot of the furniture finish was peeling. The wash basin bottle trap was damaged and leaking, the toilet flush button was corroded, and the waste bin looked cheap, like one in a Warung. There was no door seal to keep insects out or block outside noise, and I could see a big gap under the door. The large window was dirty and had a damaged roller blind. It only had a blackout screen, with no sunscreen option, so the glass was see-through and we couldn’t have privacy while letting in natural light. There was no wardrobe or hanger for clothes. There was no phone in the room, so we had to walk to the kitchen to order food. Even though the room is only

The beach is right behind the hotel, so you can swim there and then head straight to the hotel pool. We stayed in a Sunset Suite and loved the view from the balcony and window. The room was comfortable and fairly clean, and they gave us sandals too. Breakfast was so-so, but the service was great. It was my first time at Pelabuhan Ratu Beach and I had a great time.
