SAESEA Private Beach & Resort

The beach location is lovely, but service is lacking, especially for such a remote destination. Dinner took an hour to arrive, the food service was SUPERRRR slow. We were two people and booked the Deluxe Garden Sea View with 2 bedrooms through Traveloka SPECIFICALLY because the toilets in the pictures looked new and clean. The room and toilets we got were completely different from those photos. Reception said the other rooms in that same category matched the pictures, except ours. That was really disappointing.

I'm usually here about once a month, so hearing they're stopping operations this September was sad. The staff have become like family during my visits, and I wish all the best for saesea resort and all best staff. I don't think the whole resort needs rebuilding. The road access needs attention and the rooms could use a little touching up. Breakfast is already good, but having the same menu gets a bit boring, so it could use more variety, hehee. Management will have the final say, but I hope they'll consider this feedback about rebuilding the entire resort. Retouching those areas I mentioned should be enough.

Electronic music played loudly through the night, even though the resort was almost empty. If you're hoping for a quiet, restful break where you can hear the waves, DO NOT stay here. It was noisy all night.

Walking from Pantai Cibangban to Pantai Legon Pari recently, I saw what appear to be rooms built out onto the beach. That also blocks safe passage along the waterfront, which is important because the sea can get very rough and waves have swept people to their deaths in recent times. Apart from the safety issue, this construction seems illegal to me. The beachside rooms should be demolished and a safe path restored.
