The hosts are wonderful, and the breakfast they serve is delicious. The hotel is easy to reach on foot from the beach, shops and restaurants, and the rooms are quite nice. They do get quite hot, though, and there aren’t private bathrooms in the rooms. The toilet is only screened by a one-meter wall, so keep that in mind if you’re staying with a friend or a new lover, there’s not much privacy when using it.

A quaint B&B with gracious hosts and a pool in the courtyard. The rooms are comfortable, with a mini fridge and television, and the bathrooms have nice hot water. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the beach, where there are lots of restaurants. A lovely place to relax in Bali.

A very affordable, small and intimate guest villa, with lovely staff who take good care of the guests. My room was spacious and there was no street noise. It’s under a 10-minute walk to the main street, then about five more minutes to a lovely beach.

It’s in a quiet, hidden spot, not too far from Sindhu market. At night it feels completely different from the busy main street, so I’d recommend it if you’re looking for peace and a place to retreat. I dropped my client off from the airport at Sunrising at 10 pm. Going through the small lane made finding the hotel an adventure. There’s only a sign on the main road, stuck to the wall, that says rising sun bumi villa, 17/39 bumi ayu. I used Google Maps GPS and found it easily. Without GPS, make sure you have the phone number for the villa Rising Sun. As a local driver and tour guide in Seminyak Bali, I recommend booking this hotel for a stay in Sanur.

A lovely bed and breakfast with a really beautiful room, a comfortable bed and a good swimming pool. Breakfast is the one thing it needs for a five-star rating.
