The staff were genuinely friendly and happy to chat or help, and I was very pleased with my stay. It’s good value for the price. The rooms are a little dated, as other reviews mention, but they were very clean. Being near some major roads means it can get a bit noisy in the evenings. One small letdown: the laundry service didn’t get our clothes very clean.

The rooms are spacious, and the air conditioning, fans, TV, and hot water all worked fine. The decor and furnishings are dated, but at the price I paid it was good value. The staff were very friendly and made me feel at home.

The staff were so helpful and made me feel comfortable, and I’d stay here again, especially for a longer stay on a budget. For a 20 dollar room, it was comfortable. The air con and fan worked, and there was cable TV.

There’s a bar downstairs with cold beer, tasty food (pie, chips, peas and gravy, mmmmm), and sports on TV. It’s a nice, quiet, affordable hotel with friendly, helpful staff. I’ll definitely stay here next time I’m in Sanur.

The Melbourne Cup is a big social day here, raising money for the John Fawcett foundation, which helps restore eyesight for disadvantaged Balinese. Make sure you come support it on the first Tuesday in Novembet. It’s a great day for everyone. There’s also a big screen showing Aussie Rules, and the Annual Footy Tipping Competition started here. The beer-swilling Aussies take it pretty seriously! The staff are great and the people friendly. Best Aussie Tucker in Sanur, too, with Bangers and Mash, Tissoles and Gravy, plus ice-cold beer when you need an Aussie meal fix. Go The Mighty Fighting Tigers!
