Room 5 was quite spacious, with a king-size bed, small fridge, and new, quiet AC. The rooms are surprisingly quiet for a place at a traffic intersection. It's handy for one night before taking a ferry to the islands. There isn't a receptionist, so call the number at the counter when you arrive and someone will bring your keys. At checkout, just leave them in the room. They didn't ask for a passport deposit, only wanted to see our Agoda booking.

This place is within walking distance of restaurants and Sanur harbour, but the room was not clean. There was a dead cockroach by the toilet, and although the sheets looked new, they made me itchy. The pillows looked soiled inside, with water or saliva marks. Nobody was at reception when I arrived. The staff member who came to welcome me seemed like she'd just woken up. I stayed one night and didn't bother asking them to fix anything. Rooms should be clean before guests arrive, and the bedding needs to be kept up at the very least. Thank you.

The room had everything I needed: hot water, a small fridge, kettle, desk and chair, plus good internet and a comfortable bed with a nice top comforter. There's no top sheet. It's a great location, close to everything, and the room was clean. Be ready to climb some stairs, though there are sturdy rails to hold. Rooms aren't serviced often, so bring your own water and tissues for a longer stay. It's very quiet, but you can hear a lot of traffic from the street-side rooms.

I needed somewhere to sleep before an early Perama shuttle, whose stop is right next door, so I stayed despite the problems. At first the room smelled better after I ran the AC for a while. The smell seems to come from the bathrooms, which have large openings in the walls to the outdoors and no sewer ventilation for the toilet. They should switch on the AC before guests arrive. There were ants everywhere, more than the usual Bali amount, and the whole room smelled like sewer. The bed had a thin stained sheet, though at least it seemed freshly washed. Getting into the place was a hassle too. No one was at the front desk, and after I rang the service bell several times, nobody came. I sent a WhatsApp message and waited over 20 minutes in the hot, humid weather at the outdoor check-in desk before a grumpy girl showed up, gave me a key, pointed upstairs, and disappeared. The location is only so-so. It's close to the beach, but that stretch of Sanur beach is pretty dead, and it's at least a 15-minute walk south to good restaurants and shops. The street is dirty, and locals constantly hassle you about taxis. After staying at many hotels and homestays in Bali, I'd call this a one-star motel. I would never stay here again, even if someone paid me.

The rooms seemed extremely clean and were decent for the price, though the bathroom had a bit of a smell. I only stayed because I was attending an event next door. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, even though they didn't speak any English. WiFi was fairly fast, around 50Mbit/s. It's near the beach, convenience stores, and a few big supermarkets, but everything closes after 10pm. It's quite noisy since it's almost right on the highway.
