We had to ask locals for directions because there was no hotel sign. The reception area looked neglected, with very dim lighting, dirty walls, and a generally unkempt feel. Upstairs, the hallway was dusty and gray and smelled of cigar smoke. In the rooms, everything smelled of cigarettes too. One room had no electricity, there was a floor stain that looked like it came from a dirty mop, and the last room had a torn bedcover that was still being used.

The receptionist was very friendly and let me check in early. There's a well-stocked minimarket downstairs, and the rooms are a good size with working aircon and showers that can get boiling hot. It's a simple budget stay, and the shared areas are showing their age, but online rates can be excellent value. Cleanliness was much worse on my second stay than on the first, so it seems hit or miss. The price had dropped even further by then, too.

The design is nice, there's a pool, and the dining room is comfortable, but service was really poor. The receptionists weren't always around, and the place was dirty. I had to change rooms three times: the first had a broken toilet, and the second lost power. I was very disappointed with the service.

We could use the swimming pool around the clock, which I loved, and there’s a rooftop garden where you can BBQ. The room and view were good, the staff were nice, and the price was very cheap. There’s also a shop downstairs that's open until 12pm. It's in central Denpasar, so getting around is easy. The hotel offers very cheap drop-off and pick-up, too.

The room was filthy, with marks on the walls and bed, and the toilet was broken. The hotel itself is shabby, and the managers speak very little English. I strongly advise against staying here.
