Hidden Seroja Villa

We had a great weekend at hidden seroja villa and would recommend it. The pool was excellent, and the staff were very helpful. There are four large rooms with plenty of space between them and lots of outdoor areas. The property sits in a valley beside a river, so each room has a river view. My wife and I would definitely come back for another easy weekend away.

The river view from the big pool is lovely, and there’s a general lounge along with lots of facilities. It’s a spacious place with plenty of privacy, tucked into a lot of greenery, so expect close contact with nature when you book. The staff are friendly, and the golden view makes this feel like a real hidden gem. I almost wanted to keep it to myself, but the place deserves more attention. The price and quality are a very good match.

We stayed in the sapphire suite, just below the pool, and it felt like having a private pool. The water was warm even at night. The setting beside a small river is calm and peaceful, and the staff are friendly. They prefer cash, though they can take card or travel card if you insist.

When we arrived, the villa was clean and spacious. We found a badly injured dog during our stay and had to rescue it. The staff were kind about the situation and even looked after the dog overnight until animal rescue services came the next morning. There isn’t much tourism around the villa, but there are plenty of local places to explore if that’s the experience you want. Jonkepaon, just down the alley, is a really good restaurant with lovely owners and food. The staff were great.
