Joglo Villa Bali

The location took some figuring out. The hotel sign isn’t very clear, and you have to weave through a few small streets to get there. There’s plenty of space for motorbikes, though I’m not sure about parking a car. I stayed about half a month ago for a meeting and found it quite nice. Room 8 was lovely, with the pool right outside. I understood the no-swimming-after-10pm rule, but had to ask the man nearby several times before he’d take out his earphones and respond. I also found a lot of mosquitoes getting in through the windows. A mosquito net on them would help, since not everyone likes sleeping under a bed net.

Spent three nights here and had a great stay. The guestroom, pool and food were all wonderful, and so was the staff.

We chose the middle of Denpasar so most places would be close by, and this worked well. The people here are kind, the room service is brilliant, and there’s a pool. You can also eat here, rent a scooter, or arrange affordable airport transport in either direction. Strongly recommend staying here.

The owners make their own paint for artists, and there are lovely paintings all around the homestay. I bought some paint, and they set up a big canvas with everything I needed. That personal touch made the stay feel special. I spent 10 days at Joglo Homestay Bali. It was peaceful, the pool was clean and great for cooling off, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was fresh and tasty every day. A relaxed, cozy place with a creative feel. I’d recommend it.
