The location makes getting to the airport easier, and having the whole villa to yourself is a plus. Beyond that, I found very little to like. It’s far from Bali’s tourist areas, cafes, and restaurants, in a slum neighborhood. The rooms were filthy, with cockroaches, and it’s overpriced. The staff seemed friendly, but they don’t speak English. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you want your trip to feel like a real challenge.

The pool was clean and the staff were great, but the owner really needs to maintain the accommodation and improve the service. At IDR 1,2 million per night, it was very different from the promotional photos. There was dust everywhere, holes in the towels and linens, and lots of mosquitoes. The shower handle was coming loose, and the AC wasn’t cool enough. I’m very sorry to leave just one star, and hope the owner sees this.

The photos are misleading, and I’d never recommend this for families. The area was dirty and full of mosquitoes, and it felt too far from everywhere. Nothing was as shown in the pictures.

There are quite a few facilities here and the place is pretty clean. It’s in the middle of the forest, so there are lots of insects, but I think they’re cute. The food is okay too.

I’ve had two guests here, and both complained about the towels and bedcovers being unclean. One of them wanted to leave after just one night and asked me to move them to a nearby hotel. The villa won’t refund money once you’ve transferred it, so it’s better to try it first and see if it suits you. It costs much more than nearby places like quest or bhotel, and it’s in a slum neighborhood.
