The property feels like a little oasis, with plants all around, and it’s less than a five-minute walk to the beach. I stayed at Lestari Home Stay for almost three weeks, and it suited me perfectly. The rooms are well priced and, most importantly, clean. They offered to clean mine every day and changed the sheets every few days without me having to ask. Hot and lukewarm water are available in the kitchen, and you can help yourself to coffee and tea throughout the day. It’s the little things, especially after staying places where the sheets only got changed if I took them off myself.

Ari, the owner, has such a big heart and always greets you with a smile 🤗 My upgraded room felt like home. The location is hard to beat, right in the heart of Sanur but still quiet.

This complaint is about the money exchange office just outside the homestay, which I believe is part of it, rather than about the homestay itself. I went to change £50 at a rate of 22,250. The man first entered 20,250 into the calculator, then counted the money correctly. I counted it again to check, and he tried to count it once more. I told him it was already right, since we'd both counted it, but he insisted. When I said no, he took the money back and refused to serve me. I think he was trying to skim some off during that extra recount.

The bed was comfy, with a new mattress, and the shower was brilliant. There’s also a safe in the room and air conditioning. The family staff are friendly, it’s central but quiet and clean, and you get both sun and shade by the pool. And it’s cheap! I’d rather not say too much about how good this place is in case it gets too busy.

A quiet, budget-friendly place with clean, air-conditioned rooms and friendly staff. The pineapple pancakes were the best I’ve ever tasted. There’s a lovely black dog called Derby that you can take for a walk!
