Likko Inn

This is an affordable inn for daily stays, on a fairly strategic one-way road in central Denpasar. Traffic can be moderate to heavy. To head north toward Gatot Subroto, you can follow the road; to go south, there’s a small road across from the inn that leads toward Trijata and then south. There’s an okay minimarket nearby, along with affordable little cafes, restaurants and dessert shops. The inn is behind two shop buildings. It has three floors, lots of rooms, a shared area and a swimming pool that’s cleaned regularly. Room types and facilities vary, including single or double beds and air conditioning or a fan. I rented a room for 1.8 million IDR per month, though I think they may no longer allow long-term stays. My room had decent Wi-Fi (wifi.id), a queen bed, wardrobe (only some rooms have one), a small table around 2 x 0.7 m, chair, flat-screen TV, floating shelf underneath, hanging post, bedside table, one power outlet, air conditioning, shower, water heater, seated toilet and basin. The bedsheet cost an extra 50k. Electricity wasn’t included. The room was okay, a little damp but manageable. Parking fits about seven cars, plus another seven along the roadside, and there’s plenty of motorcycle space. No bicycle parking. Smoking is allowed, pets aren’t. I think you can pay by cash or debit. Security is hard to judge, so I’d be cautious. There are balconies on the second and third floors, but the building isn’t very soundproof. Weekends can be a bit noisy, depending on how many guests are around. Reception is at the minimart, which is open 8am-8pm on certain days, or you can ring the owner’s house bell, which may be answered 24 hours. Overall, it’s a good place.
