The staff were friendly and helpful whenever I had questions during my week there. At arrival, though, the bathroom was quite dirty and the fridge wasn't working, even though the main room wasn't too bad. They cleaned the bathroom after I asked. It could work for a short stay, but I wouldn't call it a family holiday resort.

We had to find another hotel because the other rooms they offered were just as bad. We couldn't get our money back because the booking was through AGODA. The room was dirty: there was dried urine on the toilet seat, the sheets and towels were dirty, and so was the fridge. The toilet was leaking too. This was the worst place I've ever booked, across Bali and all the other countries I've visited on five continents. Avoid it.

After a 12-hour bus ride, we arrived at 6 a.m., knowing checkout was at noon. We asked reception to add another night, and the employee said that was fine and we could pay at checkout. At noon, a different staff member woke us and asked whether we were staying and told us to pay immediately. I explained we'd already arranged it and would pay later. Then we got a text saying payment was due by 1 p.m. or we'd be charged extra for each hour. We packed up and left straight away. The staff need to communicate better, or tell guests if they don't understand our English.

The room felt dirty and worn out, with peeling paint and spider webs in the shower. There weren't any amenities, not even toilet paper, and none of the staff spoke English. I tried to find something positive because I hate giving a business one star, but couldn't. If this is a three-star place, I don't want to see what one or two stars look like.
