We spent three weeks here as a base for a relaxing holiday, and I would happily come back and recommend it. The garden is sublime, and breakfast there was perfect. The place feels lovingly run, and that comes through in all the staff, who were super friendly and amazing. Having a scooter made getting through traffic and going in and out of Sanur each day easy, though it was just as nice to stay and relax.

The only thing I enjoyed was the fruit jam at breakfast. For an overnight stay, the rest was a letdown. My room wasn't remotely luxury, despite the advertising. The walls needed painting years ago, the so-called double bed was two single mattresses with an uncomfortable join, and I heard loud footsteps overhead all night. The tiny shower room was about 1.1 metre x 1.2 and even had a 'do not urinate' sign, which lowered the tone of an already low-end place. Two photos of Greece on the wall don't make it feel luxurious. The green pool looked uninviting. I wondered if breakfast might make an effort, but the luxury breakfast photo says it all.

I had a wonderful stay and would come back. The building and rooms were beautiful, with some very nice antique items, and everything was clean. There was a nice pool and a very friendly owner. The location was quiet, away from loud roads, and staff were amazing and attentive. Security also let me in late at night.

This little paradise in a big city is a wonderful place to stay in Sanur / Depensar. There are several peaceful areas to rest, and the rooms are clean. The staff are incredibly kind. You can get filtered water and enjoy very good local or other food at any time of day.
