OYO 3244 Grand Chandra Hotel

The location was good, but pretty much everything else was awful. The room had mold everywhere, the linens smelled terrible, and there were no amenities. I had to sleep wearing my mask, and they wouldn't offer a refund. The door was missing its handle and hadn't been fixed, so I had to use the key to open it. They told me to upgrade for early check-in, then charged me again for the early check-in after I paid the upgrade fee. The upgraded room cost twice as much as my original one. Worst hotel I've ever paid for.

The room was spacious, but filthy and clearly hadn't been maintained in a long time. The toilet was disgusting, there was no hot water in the shower, and I found two dead cockroaches under the table. At night, I heard a couple moaning in the next room and thought they were having sex. It had a horror-movie feel. Honestly, even for just one night in transit, this was the worst hotel stay I've had. You get what you pay for.

Very dirty, and the shower leaked all night. The drawers were missing their knobs too. I booked two rooms, but they only gave me one when I arrived. Maybe it's somewhere to spend one night if you have nowhere else to go.

I booked as soon as I saw the price on Agoda and was pleased with the deal. I had put in the booking notes that I'd arrive in the evening, but at check-in the receptionist said every room was full and blamed a problem with the booking apps. He didn't seem to care. Maybe they give rooms to people who book in person and pay more than the online rate. Either way, they were mean about it, and I had to pay the taxi driver much more while looking for another cheap place just to sleep.
