Putri Homestay

The beach is only about five minutes away, and there are lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Though the homestay is near a busy road, it’s very quiet because the rooms are at the end of a small street. We stayed five nights in a pool access room. It was spacious and clean, though it could use a few quick fixes, like a longer shower curtain and a toilet seat that stays in place. Still, very good value for the price. Breakfast was simple but tasty.

The location and price are great, and it was quiet with a friendly family. But I only managed one night. The bed was dirty, with hair and stains, and there was hair on the bathtub floor and a mosquito in the bathroom. I expected a little more, honestly. It’s very simple, and if you need reliable internet, this isn’t the place. I don’t know what the five stars are about. Guess you get what you pay for.

The staff were absolutely lovely. I stayed a week in the pool access room, and breakfast was basic but nice. It’s close to the beach and midway in Sanur, with lots of restaurants and the Artesedana supermarket nearby. Lovely homestay, highly recommend.

The host and location were superb, but the rooms felt quite dated. There’s no proper bathroom ventilation, so it has a strong musty smell.
