Sanur House

We found Sanur House easy to walk from to the beach, with some good restaurants nearby. We preferred the Sindhu area of Sanur in several ways, though. The service, staff, room cleaning, pool, and restaurant were all excellent.

The bed had been sprayed with a very strong chemical smell. I don't know what it was, but it was overpowering enough to keep me awake. I could taste it and it affected my skin. Since I went to bed late, I couldn't speak to anyone and had to put up with it until morning. There was also a damp, odd smell in the toilet, which may be common in Bali but is worth knowing if you're sensitive to smells. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and the owner spoke with everyone at breakfast. I appreciated how they tried to make guests feel at home. Balinese hospitality really is second to none.

It's a small, peaceful hotel in a handy spot, close enough to the beach and other facilities. I stayed at Sanur House in January 2026 and loved it. The rooms were comfortable and very clean, and the people there were lovely, always ready to make the stay feel special. Thanks for everything. I hope I can come back one day.

The location is really convenient, and I enjoyed my stay more than at my previous place, which cost twice as much. The atmosphere here is so relaxed and the staff are absolutely wonderful. The rooms are basic, but they are kept clean.
