This place is a dump. I tried to make the best of it since I’d paid a month in advance. I noticed the mould when I arrived, then bought an expensive dehumidifier, thinking I could manage it myself. I got so-so sick while I was there. I asked to move because the air conditioner was blowing mould spores. They cleaned the AC unit in the room I moved to, but there was mould all over the property anyway, in the furniture, beds, bathrooms, and walls. The family lives there, and from what I could tell, they only care about getting money to support their lifestyle, without providing customer service. The owner was lazy and would hang around coughing and spitting on the ground early in the morning. One morning I got some of his gob right outside my door. Don’t walk barefoot there. After I left, I realized I had mould toxicity. I’m staying somewhere else for a month, and it’s night and day. I can breathe, my stomach aches have gone, and my brain fog is starting to lift. The energy felt very dark there, too. Whatever brings you to Bali, and I’ve stayed in many places on the island, you look for some energetic safety. I arrived happy and balanced after a month-long trip to Bangkok, then started having terrifying nightmares from my first night, and they continued until I left. Good luck with this one, folks!

A really disappointing stay. The room was dirty, felt unsafe, and looked poorly maintained, with mould and stains covering the walls. The kitchen faucet was broken and sprayed water everywhere, leaving the floor wet and dangerous for my kid. No one mentioned that the bathroom had an electric water heater. After I showered my daughter, there wasn’t any hot water left for me. I left early to get away from the place. Not recommended!

I felt very comfortable here and would happily come back. It’s a beautiful, peaceful place, with a large pool that’s perfect for relaxing and a private kitchen in the apartment. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.

For the time of year I visited, this place was very good for the price. The staff were kind, and it was managed brilliantly. My room was clean and everything worked as it should. The only reason I’m not giving five stars is the internet, which was really unreliable and kept cutting out during shows. Otherwise, it was perfect. Thank you.

We stayed one night in a quiet area a little farther from central Sanur, with plenty of minimarkets and local food nearby. The friendly, helpful, communicative staff were a real highlight, and the big pool was a great bonus. The property is a bit rundown, though you can see they’ve been working on renovations. There are a few small issues: rain can leave the bathroom wet, so keep your things away from or out from under the sink. The shower head and sink are also quite low, which might not suit everyone. The small kitchenette has basic cutlery, a fridge, and a table with chairs, handy for work or a little cooking. A nice place for a short visit.
