The Kanjeng Suite & Villa Sanur

The young staff were friendly and respectful, and it was clear they were trying their best, even though they didn't speak English. Everything else was a huge letdown. The property looked nothing like its photos and felt dirty, neglected, and unhygienic, more like an abandoned, run-down building. The pool was filthy, almost swamp-like. Our room wasn't properly cleaned. The furniture was falling apart, the balcony doors barely worked, and there was mold everywhere. The sheets were stained and dirty. When we asked for clean ones, the replacements were just as dirty. We booked two nights but left after one because the conditions were unbearable. We had paid cash and didn't get a refund for the second night. The place needs renovation and basic hygiene standards. Maybe the money they don't refund could go toward that. Until then, I strongly advise people not to stay here.

Helpful staff and parking for both cars and bikes were pluses, and the price was reasonable. Still, the Kanjeng didn't live up to expectations. The rooms were old and not cleaned well: there were floor stains, dusty surfaces, a dirty shower head, and fogged-up mirrors. Breakfast was cold, limited, and not tasty. Having to use physical keys instead of key cards was inconvenient, and the misleading photos made the stay disappointing. I wouldn't stay again unless things improve.

Zero-star hotel and villa. The villa was especially bad: everything felt poor, and neither the place nor the towels were clean. During heavy rain, the drainage problems caused everything to get messed up, and our bags and clothes were ruined. I took a video of it.

The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, and even let us check in early, but the room was a big disappointment. We booked at the last minute after our speed boat was canceled and hadn't checked the reviews. The photos were nowhere near accurate. The place was run down, with cabinets coming off their hinges and obvious stains on the couch. I wouldn't recommend staying here under any circumstances.
