My room was spacious, with a lovely design and even stairs because the bathroom was downstairs, which was a fun touch. It looked straight onto the small ‘river’. The staff were very polite, and there was free water. The photos make the place look a bit more perfect than it is, though. I would have liked it to be a little cleaner.

The room was a good size and I liked its style. My stay was satisfying, and the staff were friendly. The location was okay. The only thing I’d change is the curtain, since too much light comes through and sometimes it doesn’t feel very private, but it was still okay for me.

The Jungle Suite was a beautiful room with jungle views, a nice in-room TV, and a kitchen we could share and cook in with other people. We spent three months at The Paica without any problems. The staff helped people connect, so we got to meet and hang out with folks from around the world, something a regular hotel doesn’t really encourage. If you enjoy a co-living atmosphere, this is a great fit. It’s friendly, good quality, and has a relaxed mix of community and fun. Highly recommend!

We were in room D on the second floor. It was quite large for two people, and I loved the strong shower and cooking in the kitchen. The jet shower was broken, but staff fixed it within a few hours. There was no window in that room, so we had to open the door often to get air circulating. Our housemates were very friendly and felt like old friends. The owner, bli Kadek, was kind enough to let us stay one extra day for free.
