The location made it easy to get around: Icon Bali and the beach were a 10-15 minute walk, with plenty of warungs nearby and laundry, massage, and spa places too. There was room to park my car and motorcycle, and it felt like living there. The villa had two bedrooms and a spacious living room, plus a large clean pool. Housekeeping cleaned and changed the linens every two days. When I forgot to share my arrival time, getting into the room took a while, but a neighbor helped me. I’m sorry I didn’t get to thank them before leaving. It was a lovely holiday. The facilities were a little dated. The shower smelled rusty and took a while to get hot, and the bathtub drained poorly, but for the price it was acceptable. Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap were supplied, though not toothbrushes or other personal items, so bring your own or buy them nearby. There was a hot and cold water dispenser, so I could refill my bottle. The living room had a big fridge, microwave, stove, kettle, plates, cups, scissors, knives, and plenty of other things. Mosquito coils weren’t restocked, but I found them at the supermarket for under 100 yen, so it wasn’t an issue.
