A good place for a backpacking trip, with a great location.

Those edited photos look great, but inside it’s dirty. The walls are greasy, the TV doesn’t work, and the Wi-Fi is down. The service is absolutely zero, and I’m never coming back. I really regret staying here and can’t recommend it.

The place is spacious for the price, but there are cheaper options that offer better value. It’s in a congested college area and far from everything, so visitors from Indonesia or abroad may have trouble figuring out where to go. I wouldn’t recommend staying here, even just to sleep. The water flow was strong and clean, though I’d suggest washing a bucket before using it to collect water. The rooms and public toilet were damp and musty. The TV didn’t work, the AC wasn’t cold, and the bathroom floor was dirty and moldy. There was no bin in the room or outside. The mattress was hard, and I slept badly, aching and feeling hot in the damp-smelling room. I was ready to leave. The service was poor, unfriendly, and gave little information. Men were asked to remove their shoes when entering, but the floor wasn’t clean. It looked clean, yet walking barefoot I could feel the dirt, and my feet were already dusty on the way to the room. The receptionist was rude and difficult to find. Breakfast was included in my stay, but it wasn’t provided, and nobody asked when we wanted it. We could barely find the receptionist to ask.

We walked straight back out because the musty smell hit us as soon as we entered. The whole place seemed covered in mold, including the bathroom floor and pillows. It was dirty and unfit to stay in. I have no idea where those good Agoda reviews came from.
