The cleaning staff were really friendly, and the other staff worked hard and paid attention, but they don't seem to get enough guidance. Improvements need to come from management and the building, instead of putting it on staff who are following their supervisors' daily instructions. There also seem to be far too many trainees compared with the main staff, especially trainees from vocational schools (SMK). The walls are so thin that street noise comes straight through, almost like the window is open. We told room service we'd pay when we came downstairs, then explained by phone that we needed to pay later because we were unwell. Even so, another staff member came to our door asking for payment right away.

When my son left his earbuds behind, the staff responded quickly and handled finding and returning them very well. They were friendly and helpful throughout our stay at Savero Hotel Depok, which was quiet, clean, and comfortable. I'd highly recommend it for the hospitality and professionalism.

Check-in was easy: I showed my ID/passport and paid a refundable IDR 100,000 deposit. The standard room was a decent size, with the bathroom just to the right as you enter. There was no mini-bar, but it had a storage box, kettle, hairdryer, and complimentary slippers, plus two bottles of mineral water and instant coffee. The toiletries were minimal, though the hot water worked perfectly. The air conditioning kept the room comfortably cool. The smart TV had Netflix and Disney+ Hotstar, but you'll need your own account to log in. A pleasant stay, with the essentials covered.
