Puri Sadewa Balangan

We spent a week here and had a really pleasant stay. The bungalows are clean and pretty, the air conditioning and Wi-Fi worked perfectly, and everything looks lovely. The little pool was nice, and there’s a lobby with a small kitchen. The bathroom is partly open to the outside, just as the pictures show, but we only saw the odd fly or larong and it was still very clean. Yakurus warung was our favourite, honestly some of the best food we’ve ever had, and there are other great warungs nearby along with a supermarket and ATMs. It’s not right by Uluwatu’s tourist area, but getting there by scooter or Gojek, which we used, was easy enough. There was quite a bit of construction noise around the property. I think it may have been because we came outside the busy season. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

A peaceful spot away from the traffic, and a nice place to spend the night. The rooms are pretty average, though the bathroom is spacious. There’s a kettle with tea and coffee in the room. No minibar, but you can buy drinks at the mini marts and keep them at reception, where there’s a small kitchen and freezers. Ice is free.

The price could perhaps be a little lower, but we had a lovely stay at Puri Sadewa. The new bamboo rooms felt cosy, the pool was nice to use whenever we wanted, and the area was quiet. Best of all was BOLY, the charming three-month-old cat who kept us company whenever we relaxed around the property.

Everything was clean and nice, and the people were really kind. Dede was especially helpful, finding us a board bag and sorting everything out.
