Jangkrik Homestay

Sujeta and his family made me feel at home as soon as I arrived. The homestay sits back 30 meters from a principal road, so the location is convenient but still very peaceful. My room was well appointed, the bed was comfortable, and it had hot water, air conditioning, and a coffee pot. Sujeta shared some good recommendations, including Candidasa beach, where he suggested I spend a few days. He even drove me there and back at a competitive taxi rate. I highly recommend it for authentic Balinese hospitality.

Suteja, his wife, and family were so kind and welcoming. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and I was happy to have four pillows to use :) 🙌🏼 Hot water and air conditioning were dependable, and the host replied quickly. Suteja also helped me find bus schedules. Restaurants, shops, and a grocery store are nearby. One of the better homestays I’ve found in Indonesia. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Suteja and his family were always there when we needed help, and recommended places to visit. We were touched by their warm hospitality. The room was clean, well maintained, and good value for money. It’s handy for nearby attractions like Ubud palace and art market, with plenty of dining choices around. A highly recommended spot if you want an authentic homestay experience, and definitely not one to miss when you’re in Ubud.

The owners and their family made us feel very welcome, and they were always there with breakfast, advice, or help. They booked a scooter for me and even brought hot water for coffee during a storm. It’s quiet, with a lovely door facing the garden, and right in the middle of UBud, so everything you need is walkable. The rooms are modern and clean, the bathrooms are nice, and the bed was the most comfortable I had in two months of moving around. This is one of the best places I’ve stayed in, and one of the cheapest too. 10/10, I’d stay here every time I’m in UBud.
