Oyo 707 Makarma Resort Lombok

We really enjoyed our stay, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was cozy and clean, with good air conditioning, a TV, and a bathroom stocked with soap, shampoo, and even toothbrushes. The pool looked inviting, though we didn’t use it. Outside, the green grounds were well kept and had parking. The surroundings were peaceful, apart from a strange “uuuuh” noise we kept hearing in the room. It sounded like a movie ghost, and we couldn’t figure out where it came from. That was the only thing that disturbed the quiet. Breakfast was very good. I had poached eggs with avocado toast (25k + 15% tax & service), and my partner got a sandwich with fruit salad (50k + 15% tax & service). Tea and coffee with milk were available for self-service, as much as we wanted. We also ate at the restaurant: the beef burger, quesadillas, and strawberry shake were all delicious, though the tuna mayo pasta salad wasn’t really to our taste. The prices there were reasonable.

Makarma has become a regular stop for me since my first visit for surf school. The staff always make you feel like family, the rooms are clean and comfortable for a good night’s sleep, and the food is delicious for the price. I’m especially fond of the pizza 🤤. They can also arrange tours and transport anywhere in Lombok, including ferries that feel safe and reliable. I’ll keep coming back!! 😁🌴

We stayed for just two nights in a garden-view bungalow. The room was clean and had AC. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere felt special. We’d gladly recommend the place.
