I came back in 2021 after staying here in 2012, and was glad to find the rooms hadn’t changed much. They were still clean, tidy, and not damp. Some things could use attention, like the air conditioners, and an air freshener in the bathroom would help. But the rates are really affordable, and the hotel has kept up its good reputation.

The hot water was better than at any Reddoorz or OYO I’ve stayed in, though the blanket was dirty. Breakfast was just so-so, and I’d have skipped it if I could. This place works if you need somewhere to stay in Garut when all the branded hotels are full. It’s also not too far from downtown.

I had a standard room for under 300k rupiah a night, and it was clean, with clean sheets. It came with free Wi-Fi, breakfast, a shower with hot water, mineral water, a kettle with coffee or tea, a TV, and air conditioning. No bathtub, just the shower. Nice place to rest for the price, and I’d recommend it.

I found someone else’s underwear in the closet, so I guess the staff missed checking it. Still, the hotel feels homey, is clean enough, and has affordable rates. There are three room types, and mine had a hot shower, towel, sandals, and kettle. A good place to stay when passing through garut.
