The bungalow was clean and well priced, though there was no hot water. In the heat, I didn't really need it. There's no AC, just a fan, but we left the door open day and night and the sea breeze kept things comfortable for sleeping. What made it so relaxing was opening the bungalow straight onto the sea. The view was amazing and it felt very private. The place overall could be better cared for, and the restaurant/bar felt a bit lifeless, with the boys mostly hanging around there. Still, we loved the bungalow and would return. Five stars for the serenity and view!

We drove past the busier Kuta beach area and through the village to get here, and got a free ride from the airport hotel. The view from both our room and the restaurant is wonderful, and the service is great. They can get pretty much anything we need, though we don't ask for much. It's a bit rustic, with cold-water showers and occasional power outages. We bought two small rechargeable lanterns at the materials shop on the way here. My wife, our 2 year old daughter, and I are in the middle of a 1 week stay and having a blast!

We had no running water for two days and went without electricity for one day. The staff seemed unable to run the hotel. Worse, they charged my credit card TWICE the price and never refunded the money. We stayed a few days, but I totally don't recommend this place. Don't go there.

The room felt neglected, and it was neither clean nor comfortable. The staff didn't seem to look after the place or its guests, and they weren't helpful.

Dinner and breakfast were great, and the price was awesome. The place felt a bit short on maintenance, though it all seemed to work. Wi-Fi, lots of TV channels, and some large rooms with AC; most rooms have fans.
