The location is the one clear plus. I paid IDR 100k for a room, which felt like a 5/5 price, but the room and cleanliness were both 1/5. I arrived at night, was exhausted, and went straight to sleep. In the morning I saw lots of hair on the floor from the previous guest. The bed and pillow smelled horrible, so I guess they aren't changed every day. The bathroom had a used condom, a cigarette, and soap in it. I don't expect much at that price, but leaving a room uncleaned is disgusting. I don't know why people have reviewed the hotel so positively. I try to keep my reviews trustworthy and objective.

The owner was nice, and there was enough parking. I stayed one night while traveling to another city, paying IDR 50,000 for the most basic room. It had no TV, AC, or hot water, though you really don't need AC in Kopeng. Rooms with better facilities cost IDR 75,000, 100,000, or 110,000, some with a view. Being on the lowest, more humid floor didn't bother me, but I did have a serious pest problem while I was asleep. A mouse, probably coming through the bathroom drain, ate the bananas I'd left on the table. That was the main issue with my stay.

Please be careful with your valuables here. I lost my cellphone, which I'd left in the handlebar phone holder on my vehicle because I forgot to take it out. I arrived a little after 11 o'clock, and about an hour later the phone was gone. We checked the CCTV, but the camera view was blocked by a roof support pillar, so we couldn't see who took it. This happened around noon on Wednesday, February 28, 2024. I really need the phone for my business, and it all happened very quickly. I'm sharing this because it genuinely happened and may be useful for people considering a stay. Thanks for reading.

The view is nice, and there's fast Wi-Fi. Rooms are cleaned regularly and are fairly clean, with a few types to choose from: regular, with a TV, or with both a TV and hot water. There's also a food stall selling meals, snacks, and toiletries. It gets a little noisy at night since there's a karaoke place nearby, but otherwise things are good.
