For roughly $368 for two nights at Atollhaven, I expected a better experience. The anniversary room decorations were a nice touch, but the payment link was external and inconvenient. The property is about a seven-minute walk from the beach and has no real view, so I’d choose somewhere beachfront. Old rusty bikes were another disappointment. At night, lizards and insects got in through small roof gaps. The AC barely cooled the room, and the mosquito net made it too hot. My wife was unwell at checkout, but our request for a brief late checkout was refused because they said they were fully booked. Later I saw the same place online for about $90 a night, half of what I’d paid. They also said we had consumed a bottle of soda water we hadn’t touched and insisted one was missing. Aside from the nice decorations, the comfort, service, and honesty were disappointing. It felt overpriced and uncomfortable, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

The room price was affordable for this kind of place, and we had free bicycles and snorkeling gear during our honeymoon stay. It was quiet and clean, and the service was excellent. The harbor is quite far away, especially on foot. I’d like to stay here again if I return to Gili Air.

The hotel looks decent, but the staff and the misleading Wi-Fi offer made the stay extremely disappointing. Wi-Fi was listed as included, yet it was barely usable. We were then asked to pay extra for it, and the connection still worked very poorly. I went to reception several times and got ridiculous excuses instead of any real effort to fix the problem. At checkout there was no compensation offered. I had to push to speak with the manager before receiving a pathetic 7% discount. Given what happened, that was a joke. The staff showed no customer service and seemed to view guests as walking wallets. I don’t recommend this place.

We only stayed overnight, but the welcome was warm from the start. The Villa was clean and really nice, and the service was 10/10. Breakfast was delicious too. Free snorkel masks are available to borrow in the room.

The quiet, peaceful atmosphere made me feel at home, and I’m already counting the days until I can return. I travel a lot, and Atoll Haven is one of the warmest and most beautiful places I’ve stayed. The villas are beautifully decorated, with a gorgeous shower area and pool. The owners and staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was delicious, bikes were provided, and the location was great. Everything felt just right.
