Blue Marine Resort

I did two fun dives after my course and only wish I’d had more time before leaving. Ilak was my instructor on one, and we chatted throughout the boat ride. In our group of four, he checked that everyone was okay and took time to point out marine life, including animals a less experienced diver might have missed. Dania led my final dive on Gili Air at Harlik Reef, enthusiastically looking for octopuses and other creatures. It was a beautiful last dive. Boni taught my Advanced Open Water Course, and I felt safe and looked after from the first dive. After doing my Open Water on Gili Meno, I already loved diving, but this course took it further. Boni explained the skills clearly in each briefing, watched over me underwater, and made sure I was comfortable and completed the exercises. He’s cheerful and positive, and his enthusiasm for life and for finding even the smallest underwater animals is infectious. The dives were incredible, from deep water with great visibility to shallow coral and fish. My favorite was Shark Point: we saw a wreck and sharks in their natural environment. The 30-meter wreck exploration followed by using the remaining air in shallower water at 14-18 meters to enjoy the reef made a great combination. The whole Blue Marlin Dive School team on Gili Air was as welcoming as the team on Gili Meno. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and easygoing. The crew also did a great job getting the equipment onto the boat and helping us in and out of the water. Between dives, it was a nice place to relax and chat with divers, crew, and instructors. Everything was easy to organize, and the team was flexible. I learned a lot, had so much fun, and felt supported throughout. A big thank you to Boni and everyone at Blue Marlin. 🌊🤿🐠🐢

We booked our private snorkeling trip with Filibertus the evening before, for the following morning, so it was very spontaneous. The team had no problem arranging it. Our captain, Sapiq, let us take our time at the snorkeling spots and never rushed us. We loved the whole experience. Thanks again :)

Our 40minute dive after practising the basics in the pool was spectacular. We saw sea Turtles, bright coral, and beautiful tropical fish. We did a beginners Scub course with Blue Marine, and Instructor Emily explained everything in detail and made us feel safe throughout. We’ll return to complete our full PADI course.

My first scuba dive ever was with Blue Marine Dive, and it was such an amazing, unforgettable experience. Mas Musa was a very helpful and patient instructor, and the whole Blue Marine Dive team was incredibly kind and supportive as they guided me through everything. It was soooo much fun! Next time I’m in Gili Air, I’ll definitely come back to dive again and recommend them to all my friends.
