We had a really good discovery dive here. From the start, the team helped us feel comfortable and safe, which mattered a lot to us. Lucía was so kind, patient, and supportive throughout. She gave us a sense of confidence and security we hadn’t found elsewhere, and that helped us relax and enjoy the dive. Highly recommend this professional, friendly, trustworthy dive center.

I was nervous about doing my Advanced Open Water course because there’d been a long gap since my last dive, which hadn’t gone well in Spain. Izzy, my instructor, and Louise, the Divemaster, were both amazing: patient, kind, helpful, and accommodating. They helped me build my skills and confidence in the water. Visibility wasn’t great during monsoon season, but they did their best to make the diving enjoyable. I’m really glad I came here for my AOW and met such amazing people.

I spent six weeks at Blue Marlin Gili Air, starting with fun diving and then taking my Instructor Development Course with Shruti. I loved the experience and would absolutely dive with them again. The diving was fantastic, with beautiful sites, lots of turtles, and great macro. The facilities were clean, organized, and top-notch, with well-maintained equipment and a huge training pool. From the briefings through the boat operations, everything ran smoothly, which made the experience comfortable and gave me confidence. The dive, equipment, conservation, and boat teams were all friendly, knowledgeable, and very focused on safety. They also take marine conservation seriously, through buoyancy and no-touch practices during dives, as well as conservation courses and beach clean-ups. This dive center sets a high standard for service, safety, and care for the environment. Beginners and experienced divers alike would be in good hands.

I was pretty nervous about diving, but Fraser quickly helped me feel calm and collected. He’s a patient, calm, and knowledgeable teacher, and I learned a few things that friends who went to other schools on the island didn’t cover. I just completed my Open Water PADI here and loved it. The dive sites were awesome: reef sharks, cuttlefish, octopus, clown fish, green turtles, and plenty more. I highly recommend this diving school!
