Cabana

Yun, the manager, was very nice, and the decor was tasteful. The shower water wasn’t salty either. But the standard room is at the back of the building and felt like a box, quite claustrophobic, with no ensuite shower or bathroom. The photos show the two-bedroom suite, so it didn’t look like what I expected. There were stains on the bed, just one small window facing a wall, and it definitely didn’t feel beachfront. I could also hear the people upstairs walking very loudly. I’d booked four nights and asked to cancel or have the cancellation fee waived, but the owner declined. There are no cancellations, so I’d book one night first and see if you like it.

The ocean is right at the doorstep, and seeing the sunrise over mt Rinjani Lombok from the room in the morning was incredible. I stayed downstairs in the double bed room with my partner. It was simple but really comfortable, cool and clean, in an awesome location. Yuyun the manager welcomed us and helped my partner find a few bits and bobs at the local store. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

The woman at reception took such good care of us and even brought fresh fruit during our stay. Check-in was easy, the beds were comfortable, and we had ocean views right across from the place. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you!

Yuyun, the house manager on site, was the standout for me. I’ve never seen anyone go so far above and beyond for guests in such a genuine way. I only discovered her breakfast a few days into my stay, after trying several trendy breakfast spots, and hers was easily the best and very well priced. The space is beautifully designed, beachfront and exceptionally quiet, with what I’d call the best sunset on the island. It was very reasonably priced too. The WiFi really didn’t work at all, though, so I couldn’t stay longer.
