We couldn't get comfortable and left straight away. Palm Trees Villas was in very poor shape: the room smelled bad, was dirty, and the walls under the window were damp and damaged. The bathroom had heavy limescale and looked as though it hadn't been cleaned properly in a long time. There was even food in the fridge that had expired in 2022, which is completely unacceptable. The receptionist spoke very little English, but cancelled the booking without any trouble. The experience was still extremely unpleasant. We strongly advise against staying here and hope other travellers can avoid the same situation.

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel is in a great location, and the staff were very friendly and always available.

The staff were incredibly gentle and nice, and they can rent you a bike too. We had an amazing stay. Our room was big and clean, with a comfy mattress and room for our big backpacks. It had hot water, though you don't really need it, and a little patio with a sofa where we could relax after swimming in the sun. The location is great for sunsets without the crowds, and it's easy to walk around the island from there.

We had a great night's sleep here, thanks to the cozy mattress and the quiet spot away from the mosque. The rooms are very clean, and staff make the bed and clean every day. They were extremely helpful and went out of their way to make our stay good. When I told Haris the manager that my shower wasn't working properly, they fixed it right away. Palm Tree Villas is so close to the sunset point, and the best snorkeling spots for turtles and sunrise are just a five-minute bike ride away. The location is perfect, and for the price you really get your money's worth. I can only recommend it.

We spent three nights here and found everything clean and tidy. The air conditioning was important in this season, and the staff were very friendly. We had a great time on the island.
