I didn’t stay at Sirgi’s House, but I used the laundry and got a traditional massage. The laundry cost 20k per 1kg, came back the next day, folded nicely, and wasn’t too strongly scented. They take cash only. The late-night massage was decent, though weaker than we’d asked for. The two young girls had already had many customers before us, so we understood. The room was clean, with calming music and a nice atmosphere alongside the sounds of everyday life outside. It wasn’t the best massage on the island, or the worst, and seems worth trying if the busy places are booked and you want one.

The room was clean, and the AC worked perfectly. The electricity went out once during our five days, but that can happen on Gili and isn’t specific to this accommodation. The staff were kind and very nice, always ready to help if we needed anything. We had an awesome stay and would definitely come back :-)

A simple breakfast, a clean room when I asked for it, and friendly staff. It’s quiet and toward the north end of the island, with sunset beaches 5-10 minutes’ walk to the north and 'town' about 10 minutes south. That’s a lot of walking if you prefer, but you can hire a bike 😉. Cheap and cheerful.

DO NOT STAY HERE. The air conditioning we paid extra for didn’t work, and neither did the shower. The staff were extremely lazy and rude. We left after one day and politely asked for half our money back, but were treated horribly. There are so many better places on the island. DO NOT STAY HERE.

The banana pancakes at breakfast were especially good, and I’d certainly recommend this place. It’s in a nice, quiet spot in the north of Gili Air. The owner, Husni, and his employees, Adet and Bladour, were extremely helpful and friendly.
